This 2022 flashback is from Beverly, Randolph County, West Virginia. My family was invited to open their brand new "African Americans in Beverly" exhibit at the Bevery Heritage Center. This two-minute video chronicles our fascinating and emotional visit to the place where my three-times great grandmother, MARGARETT BOOKER was born into slavery. Our family historian, M. Lavata Williams came, as well as three of my first cousins: Julie, Suzanne and Nathan.
